Responsibilities:
1. Technical and disciplinary leadership of the test fixture team within Order Engineering Compressor Seals, including task prioritization, resource management, and professional development of team members
2. Ensuring the technical quality, functionality, and on-time delivery of all test fixtures, taking customer requirements and applicable standards into account
3. Independent design and further development of test fixtures for the qualification and validation of compressor seals
4. Continuous optimization of processes, methods, and interfaces within the area of responsibility to sustainably improve lead time, throughput times, and on-time delivery
5. Close collaboration with international engineering teams, including their training and development
Qualifications:
6. Successfully completed technical degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or comparable)
7. Several years of professional experience (> 5 years) in mechanical engineering, ideally in the field of turbomachinery, compressors, or sealing technology
8. Initial leadership experience in the technical leadership of small teams
9. Proficient use of a 3D CAD system and the ability to implement demanding designs independently with a strong focus on quality
10. Experience with test rigs or validation activities is an advantage
11. strong team and communication skills combined with a structured and independent working style
12. Confident and negotiation-level communication skills in German and English with customers and international teams
13. High standards for technical quality, initiative, and motivation to continuously develop the team and technical solutions
