Database Architect and Configuration Expert

You will contribute to this mission as a key member of our team, responsible for designing scalable and powerful database architectures that meet the requirements of our application and support business growth. Your expertise will be essential in creating and maintaining database models, schemas, and data flow diagrams to map our data structure and its relationships.
* Create database solutions that align with business objectives and drive growth through efficient data management practices.
* Maintain high-quality database designs that ensure seamless integration and scalability to meet evolving needs.
Your contribution will also involve:
* Improving database performance through techniques such as indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
* Closely collaborating with different teams to capture requirements and implement feasible database solutions.
In order to achieve these goals, we require:
* Demonstrable experience as a database architect or similar role, including a strong portfolio of projects in database design and implementation.
* A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; a master's degree is desirable.
* In-depth knowledge of common database management systems such as SQL server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases. Profound experience with cloud database services such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL database is a plus.
* Excellent proficiency in English and fluency in German.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities to evolving technologies.
