We are continuing to expand our team and are looking to fill the position of a Rocket Engine Thermal Analysis Engineer (m/f/d).
Determine thermal loads from the hot gas in the combustion chamber into the injector and the chamber wall
Design and assess cooling concepts such as regenerative cooling, film cooling, and radiative heat transfer
Analyze heat transfer in hot gas flows, combustion chambers, nozzles, and cooling structures
Support engine design by identifying thermal risks and proposing optimization
Correlate analytical results with test data and derive design updates
Collaborate closely with design, systems, CFD, test, and manufacturing teams
Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience
Proficiency in both German and English
