You've established your people and resource management ability. Here's where you take it further. You and your team ensure customer delivery requirements meet supply chain delivery commitments to enable on time delivery. Resolving supply chain issues with strong business acumen and continuous improvement mindset, in close cooperation with worldwide internal partners ensures maximized shipping output. While you and team ensure that customer orders are correct and complete to enable timely shipment, the warehouse team takes over to ensure effective and efficient picking, packing, shipping and exporting as well as transportation to customer. Furthermore, you and team will manage customer complaints at time of delivery (DEFect On Arrival (DEFOA) to enable timely and comprehensive corrective action to customer.
1. This management position heads a team of Logistics Process Analysts and Business Admin personnel. It includes supervision of 11 direct reports and 1 Supervisor (who manages another 12 direct reports).
2. Contribute and / or fulfill Logistics KPI’s such as compliance, on time delivery, quality and cost.
3. Collaborate effectively with business partners as part of Agilent's overall order fulfillment network (work globally and act locally).
4. This includes active leadership among peers to drive cross-regional improvements within Germany, Europe, Global Logistics and beyond.
5. Develop and implement best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness ensuring world-class customer delivery experience.
6. Support and implement digital transformation across the supply chain logistics organization with innovative, best-in-class technologies and/or processes.
Qualifications
7. Ideally you have a bachelor or Master Degree of Business Administration / Logistics plus related experience as a manager, supervisor, and/or individual contributor
8. In addition, you have several years of practical experience in a similar position including people management and a customer first mindset
9. Continuous improvement is part of your working style and you have proven that by leading related projects and by putting strategy into tactical plans
10. Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems, along with strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills; strong interpersonal skills with a focus on details
11. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills using data to drive business decisions
12. You are self-motivated and self-driven with excellent presentation and communication skills with all levels
13. MS Office Products are part of your daily toolset and ideally you have experience with ERP-System SAP
14. Your German and English are business fluent
