You’ll break new ground by You will collaborate with senior AI developers to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions for automated software optimization and energy efficient software engineering You will build AI agents and develop agentic workflows that analyze legacy code and automate its transformation into modern, energy-efficient implementations, considering defined quality aspects You will assist in developing metrics and tools to measure and reduce software energy consumption and carbon footprint You will stay updated on the latest advancements in (Gen)AI research and technology to contribute innovative ideas to the team You will document code, processes, and results for future reference and knowledge sharing Your success is grounded in Education: Master's student in Data Science, Computer Science with an AI/ML focus, or a similar field Experience & Skills: Strong understanding of fundamental concepts in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning; Proficiency in Python is required; Experience with other programming languages like C# or C++ is advantageous; Experience working with large language models (e.g., GPT, Llama) for code-related tasks such as analysis, generation, and optimization; Familiarity with AI agents, agentic workflows, MCP, and LLM application frameworks (e.g., LangChain) for software engineering automation; Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques, vector databases, and fine-tuning approaches Ways of working: Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail; Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Languages: Very good written and oral English skills are required (C1); German skills would be an advantage but not a must You are much more than your qualifications, and we believe in the potential of every single candidate.
