Intern Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d)
Our international and dynamic team is on the lookout for a motivated person to join us in the role of Manufacturing Engineer - Intern in the Vehicle department. Your Tasks
1. Assist the team in developing and maintaining engineering documentation through the life cycle of the vehicle
2. Participate in design for manufacture (DFM) reviews with all stakeholders from peer designers to management
3. Prepare bill of materials (BOM) for input into the procurement process
4. Assist with hands-on tasks such as assembly, integration and testing
5. Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods and processes
Your Qualifications
6. Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a STEM-related field
7. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, ideally in an aerospace context
8. Hands-on experience with tools and equipment in a manufacturing workshop
9. Being part of a rocketry student team, formula student or similar is a strong plus
10. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken (all daily activities are conducted in English)
11. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and contribute as needed by the team in a collaborative environment
