For our client, a leading global technology company in the semiconductor industry, we are looking for an Mechanical Product Engineer (m/w/d) / in Böblingen.
Your tasks:
* As part of the SoC Delivery team you drive our client towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturing environment
* Support change management to our external supply chain including mechanical CAD drawing updates
* Support of mechanical engineering team on different ongoing projects
* Actively drive supply chain requirements into hardware to achieve efficient and predictable manufacturability by utilizing the capabilities of our partners
* Manage quality, product changes and technical supply chain processes of products to constantly fulfill customer and business requirements
* Aspects to consider are manufacturing process optimization, cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives to drive quality, cost, and supply metrics towards defined goals
* Work closely with our contract manufacturers, our Development and Supply Chain teams in a very international environment
* 10% travel required (Germany, Europe)
Your skills:
* Bachelor/ master’s degree in mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
* Knowledge of mechanical product development with CAD tool support
* Broad knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and high knowledge of mechanical high-level assemblies
* Proactive, flexible, and innovative mindset with analytical problem-solving skills, demonstrating strong ownership
* Good Communication skills and team player in cross-functional and cross-company environment both in English and German
* knowledge of semiconductor industry
