Analog IC Design Engineer
A fantastic opportunity for an experience Analog IC Design Engineer to join a Global Manufacturer of Power Electronics and Electric Drives, currently expanding their R&D efforts in the new energy vehicle (NEV) and power semiconductor domains.
You will be joining the Driver IC R&D team, focusing on the development of isolated gate driver ICs, particularly for IGBT, SiC, and half-bridge configurations used in automotive and industrial applications. You will be responsible for the architecture, schematic-level design, simulation, and validation of high-performance gate driver ICs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop isolated driver ICs, including: - IGBT/SiC drivers * Half-bridge / full-bridge gate drivers * High-voltage level shifters and protection circuits
• Perform analog and mixed-signal circuit design, simulation (Spectre, HSPICE), and verification
• Lead or contribute to layout supervision, DRC/LVS review, and silicon validation
• Work with packaging and system engineers to optimize for performance, EMI, and thermal constraints
• Support test plan development and failure analysis for engineering samples
• Collaborate with system application teams to meet customer-specific design requirements
Requirements:
• Master's degree or above in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design, preferably in gate drivers or power management
• Strong foundation in: Analog blocks: op-amps, comparators, level shifters, charge pumps, etc. - Power device interfacing (e.g. IGBT, SiC, MOSFET) - Isolated signal transmission, dead-time control, under-voltage lockout (UVLO)
• Familiar with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, or other IC design tools
• Fluent in English
