We are looking for a Senior Storage and Backup Administrator to join the Global IT Operations team. The role involves the design, implementation, administration, optimization, and support of enterprise storage and backup environment.
Dell PowerFlex, Dell Unity, Dell Data Domain, Synology
Perform storage provisioning, capacity planning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management.
Implement and maintain storage replication, snapshots, deduplication, compression, and tiering strategies.
Develop and maintain backup, retention, and recovery policies aligned with business and compliance requirements.
Implement data protection and ransomware recovery strategies.
Participate in audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
Support virtualization and physical platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, Windows, Linux for both Storage and Backup.
Provide Level 3 technical support for storage and backup incidents / requests. Mentor junior administrators and provide technical guidance to the broader IT team.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Strong experience with SAN/NAS technologies (Dell PowerFlex, Dell Unity, Dell Data Domain).
Hands-on experience with VMware and Hyper-V environments
Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments
Experience supporting Disaster Recovery and data protection strategies
Ability to work in a global, collaborative environment
