Your mission
We are looking for a midtosenior level AI Engineer/Software Engineer to help build and scaleour AIdriven services. You will be responsible for implementing robust and scalable backend AIservices productfacing APIs and efficient data pipelines. A key aspect of this role involvesdeveloping agentic workflows that perform automated research tasks within the context ofPatientGPT our expert AI designed to enhance the understanding of patient experiences. Thisrole requires a proactive problemsolver who can work autonomously and communicateeffectively within a fastpaced startup environment. Responsibilities
* Design develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs and backend services for AIpowered applications.
* Implement scalable AIpowered solutions using AWS services.
* Work with databases including MongoDB PostgreSQL and vector databases tohandle structured and unstructured data efficiently.
* Build optimize and automate data pipelines to process largescale datasets.
* Deploy and manage AI pipelines and machine learning models in productionenvironments.
* Develop agentic workflows for automated research tasks withinPatientGPT.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts product teams and other engineers to deliverhighquality solutions.
* Continuously improve system architecture and development processes.
Your profile
* Experience: 4 years in software engineering with a strong focus on backend development and AI/ML integration.
* Technologies: Proficiency in Python (or other relevant languages) experience with AWS services familiarity with REST API design and containerization with Docker
* Databases: Handson experience with SQL MongoDB or vector databases.
* Machine Learning: Experience with ML model deployment and ML life cycles.
* Data Pipelines: Knowledge of ETL processes and data ML pipeline orchestration.
* Agentic Workflows: Understanding of autonomous research agents and AIdriven knowledge extraction. Handson experience with at least one LLM and agent framework
* ProblemSolving: Ability to work independently and find innovative solutions to technical challenges.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Continuous Learning: Strong motivation to learn new technologies and continuously improve skills independently.
