The Security Operations Center (SOC) manages the operational IT security of the DRV Bund and other affiliated pension insurance institutions. To this end, the SOC operates specialized systems for detecting vulnerabilities and attacks and serves as the central point of contact for responding to IT security incidents. By coordinating and conducting penetration tests, the SOC also performs preventive tasks. As part of the SOC, the Data and Platform Management Team handles the operation and configuration of security systems and is responsible for developing automations and onboarding new processes.
