Overview
You collaborate on an internal R&D project focused on developing strategies for a next‑gen electrolyzer product, engaging in lively brainstorming sessions. Additionally, you hold a growth dialogue with a direct report to discuss their career development and future tasks, and prepare a training workshop to identify the team’s core competencies and create a detailed onboarding plan for new employees.
How You’ll Make An Impact
* Direct a specialized team of electrical engineers, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement while building a diverse and inclusive team environment.
* Oversee the creation and validation of advanced electrical models for electrolysis and converter systems, ensuring technical accuracy and efficiency.
* Support project execution and development with grid‑code compliance by providing well‑trained resources and optimizing the Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP) for enhanced reliability and cost-effectiveness.
* Guide the design and development of converter control systems to ensure high performance and stability, while contributing to strategic planning that aligns technical objectives with the company’s growth and sustainability targets.
* Champion innovative solutions and technologies, collaborating with cross‑disciplinary teams and external partners to ensure cohesive project execution and staying ahead of industry trends.
* Engage with international clients, partners, and consortiums to promote effective communication and collaboration, while managing resource planning, recruitment, and development for long‑term team success.
What You Bring
* Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering or related fields, with a strong focus on electrical power engineering, power electronics, grid simulation, or system/control stability.
* Long‑term experience in electrical power or power electronics engineering, with significant leadership experience and expertise in electrolysis applications.
* Deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, high‑power components, converter systems, and high‑current applications.
* Proven ability to lead cross‑cultural teams, with a focus on innovation, strategic development, and customer orientation.
* Excellent English communication skills for effective collaboration with a broad range of global stakeholders.
* Strong sense of ownership and vision for related scopes and tasks, with an interest in cross‑cultural collaboration and willingness for international travel.
