For our BL Intermodal & Road, we are looking for an Operational Performance Manager (m/f/d) at our Dormagen or Rotterdam location, someone who embodies what all our employees have in common: always going one step further.
Your Responsibilities
5. Monitor transport orders to identify underperforming shipments, lanes, or customer orders, and initiate clarification with the responsible Order Owner
6. Ensure accuracy of booked costs, extra charges, lump sums, and additional income
7. Continuously review and ensure readiness of revenue/cost entries for invoicing in the Transport Management System
8. Oversee the issuance of invoices and credit notes, and coordinate corrective actions with the Billing & Invoicing team
9. Manage internal settlements and resolve incorrect or duplicate charges within the HOYER organization
10. Analyze non-billable costs, assess root causes, and collaborate with Operations and Sales to implement corrective measures
11. Regularly review deferred income to identify unnecessary delays or risks
12. Support month-end closing procedures, including write-offs and cost adjustments
13. Conduct regular and ad-hoc data analyses to support operational and financial decision-making
Your Expertise
14. Bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training in logistics
15. Initial professional experience in a similar role or within the field of operational performance
16. Relevant experience in logistics services would be beneficial
17. Relevant experience in operational controlling would be beneficial
18. Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
19. Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
20. High level of flexibility, efficiency, and self-motivation
21. Excellent communication skills and a hands-on mentality
