We're Hiring: New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Leader

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our manufacturing processes for cutting-edge products, including electroacoustic transducers and audiophile headphones.
Your Mission
As NPI Project Leader, you’ll lead cross-functional manufacturing projects from concept to production, ensuring seamless product launches within Sonova’s internal production network. Collaborating with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations Centers, your goal is to build efficient, high-quality manufacturing solutions for tomorrow's products.
What You’ll Do
1. Define manufacturing concepts and strategies for new products
2. Coordinate NPI projects from planning to execution
3. Ensure project timelines, quality standards, risk management, and budget control
4. Work closely with R&D to support “Design for Manufacturing”
5. Design high-performance manufacturing processes (manual & automated)
6. Define requirements and select equipment (internal & external sourcing)
7. Collaborate with testing teams on test strategy and implementation
8. Lead problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Your Profile
Must-Haves:
9. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Systems or similar
10. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering project roles
11. At least 2-3 years experience as a project leader
12. Fluent English (German and French are a plus)
13. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
14. Experience with MS Office, SAP, and ideally Labview
Nice-to-Haves:
15. Master’s degree in Automation
16. Training in project management methodologies (. PMP, Prince2)
17. Background in electroacoustics or continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma)
