Tasks : Define metrology & quality control methods for Electro-active lenses (e.g. electrochromic), multilayer coating stacks, and frame-integrated components Execute and document optical, electrical, and environmental testing (e.g., switching speed, optical transmission, haze, uniformity, EMC noise levels) Develop protocols for defect detection, coating failure analysis, and optical benchmark testing Draft and review documents such as: GSPR, risk analysis (FMEA), performance specifications, chemical declarations Interface with internal regulatory and legal teams for MDR/CE compliance Advise on validation readiness for final product documentation Qualification: Degree (PhD (or M.Sc.)) in Physics, Optical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in metrology, regulatory testing, and technical documentation Proven experience with regulatory documentation for CE/MDR compliance Ability to independently manage lab testing activities and reporting routines Risk management & reliability testing experience (FMEA). Background in testing & validation of electro-optical systems, with experience in bringing products to market. Experience in generating and filing patent.
