Your tasks Installing, patching, automating - you will deploy Linux installations to our systems, define and implement security and governance policies and be at the heart of our global structures for the standardized deployment of Linux systems
Of course, this is anything but manual work: with modern automation tools, you ensure that everything installs itself, take care of our Ansible Automation Platform and find creative solutions to automate log file management, performance analyses, availability diagrams and much more
We can always count on you, because as soon as something goes wrong in our Linux installations or with the Ansible Automation Platform, you are immediately on the spot
It goes without saying that you also bring your expertise to bear in the operation of other apps and systems, ensure rock-solid operation and play a decisive role in the design, implementation and introduction of new features, systems and technologies
You not only keep an eye on our minimum and security standards, but also keep the quality of requirements and implementation of changes high by creating appropriate acceptance and production environments
Nothing escapes your attention: whether in our system landscape, apps, tools or in the incident, change and problem process - you keep an eye on all the "moving parts" at all times, ensure that everything runs smoothly with careful management and also intervene as 2nd level support
And to ensure that everyone has an overview, you define well thought-out key performance and availability figures, analyze hardware and software reports and carefully track our goals and system statuses
Your profile Completed studies with a focus on (business) computer science, electrical engineering or similar or comparable training (e.g. IT specialist) / qualification
Comprehensive specialist knowledge and relevant professional experience in the administration environment, with programming / scripting languages and in IT infrastructure, security and ITIL
In-depth expertise in automation tools (Ansible) and Linux
Strong practice in agile project methods
Willingness to be on call
Analytical-abstract way of thinking and high solution competence
Ability to think outside the box and develop sustainable solutions
Fluent written and spoken German and English
