Technician / Maintenance (m/w/d)
Location: Rodenberg, Germany
Language: German (fluent) | English (B1 nice-to-have)
Work Setup: Fully On-Site | No remote option
This isn’t just another job posting.
It’s a call to the kind of technician who doesn’t wait for things to break before taking action. The kind who listens to machines and knows when they’re whispering for help, not just screaming for it.
Our client is building a future-proof, scaled-up engine of dry-ingredient food production that feeds millions. And we need someone who thrives in motion, in maintenance, in mastery.
Who we are:
* A fast-growing food production company headquartered in Hameln, with operations in Rodenberg
* Specialists in dry ingredients, baking mixes, spice blends, and more
* Trusted by the likes of Edeka and Lidl, producing under private label
* Small enough to know each other’s names, bold enough to plan to triple in size in the next 5 years
* Known for our flat hierarchies, startup energy, and almost nonexistent turnover
What you’ll do:
* Keep production running through preventative maintenance and rapid response
* Service and repair machines, infrastructure, tools, always to manufacturer standards
* Tackle faults like a pro: troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve
* Document everything in our maintenance planner
* Source parts and manage technical inventory
* Guide and coordinate external service providers
* Jump into installation work on machinery and buildings when needed
What you bring:
* Completed vocational training in Mechatronics or related technical field
* Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing
* Comfort working with PLC/SPS, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components
* Fluent German (Verhandlungssicher) is essential
* You’re reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and you show up when it matters
Bonus skills that make you stand out:
* Welding knowledge (TIG/WIG)
* B1-level English
* Forklift license
* Safety officer experience
* Familiarity with control tech and transformer systems
What’s in it for you:
We’re not going to list a salary to impress you. But know this, we reward not just your experience, but your energy. We offer a stable, long-term role in a company that’s going places and wants to take you along for the ride.
* Work with purpose in a team that respects your craft
* Take ownership of your work and make your mark
* Enjoy the comfort of low politics, high impact
* Get access to perks like bike leasing, team events, corporate discounts, and more
Structure & Process:
* Permanent, full-time role (38 hours/week)
* Report directly to the Plant Manager
* Interview 1: Plant Manager + site tour
* Interview 2: CEO at HQ in Hameln
* Start date: As soon as you're ready
* Probation: 6 months
This role isn’t for someone looking to coast. It’s for someone who wants to matter, whose hands and head are wired for momentum.
Apply now and join a team where machines power the process, but humans make it work.
