IoT Solutions Engineer
We are seeking a skilled engineer to lead the development of our IoT product landscape.
* About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building and integrating IoT devices for commercial or industrial applications. They will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to maintain high standards of quality and innovation.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build and integrate IoT devices for commercial or industrial applications.
* Lead the integration of hardware components into Point of Sale (kiosk) systems.
* Ensure the smooth operation and security of embedded systems running on Linux.
* Implement and manage software deployments on edge computing devices.
* Analyze large datasets generated by IoT device fleets.
* Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of IoT projects.
* Requirements:
* You hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a comparable field.
* You are proficient in software development for edge computing devices.
* You possess advanced Python skills (C++ is a plus).
* You have experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Ansible.
* You have experience with AWS IoT Core/Greengrass, or other IoT fleet management solutions.
* You are familiar with simulation tools and test procedures to validate hardware designs.
* You are a creative problem solver who applies innovative approaches to hardware development.
* You work with precision and attention to detail.
* You have outstanding diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
* You are fluent in English (German is a plus).
* Work Setup:
* Hours: 40 hours per week (based on trust).
