Your Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsibility for the stable, secure and cost-effective operation of IT at the Augsburg and Leingarten (near Heilbronn) locations
2. Leading and developing the IT team (IT Operations & IT Business Center), planning staffing needs, and employee development
3. Advising management on all IT matters (IT strategy, risk management, architecture and governance)
4. Further developing the existing IT landscape, networks and application and data architecture in terms of modernity, security and scalability, with the goal of ensuring optimal collaboration between IT and business units: from production to administration
5. Implementing digitalization, automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives as part of a modern IT strategy aligned with our corporate goals and proactively supporting change processes
6. Planning and managing the IT budget as well as prioritizing projects
7. Managing external IT service providers and technology partners
8. Helping to shape global IT strategies and structures in our international subsidiaries

Your Profile:
9. A degree in computer science, business informatics or an alternative, comparable qualification
10. Several years of professional experience in an IT management role, e.g. as an IT manager (m/f/d) or IT team lead (m/f/d)
11. Broad IT experience profile and in-depth knowledge of modern IT infrastructures (Microsoft environment, help desk management), network and communication technologies, cloud technologies and business applications (e.g. ERP/PSI Penta, CRM/Salesforce, MES, CPQ, PLM, SAP, etc.), as well as integration platforms in the application and data domains
12. Experience with modern cyber security architectures (MDR, XDR, ZeroTrust, MFA, identity protection etc.) as well as with DevOps practices or the implementation of DevOps
13. Competencies in project and change management, ideally from other (mid-sized) manufacturing companies
14. Fluent German and very good English skills
