Job Opportunity: Senior Trading Analyst
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Trading Analyst to join our team. As a critical force in driving commercial performance, you will be responsible for analyzing business data, identifying growth opportunities, and driving initiatives that boost demand and conversion.
You will collaborate closely with the Marketing department, acting as a strategic and analytical partner to help shape more data-driven marketing decisions and scale up their quantitative capabilities.
About the Role
In this role, you will work with the team out of our modern Berlin office three days per week. You will analyze daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to understand demand drivers, identify gaps, and surface timely opportunities.
You will support weekly trading meetings with clear performance insights and forward-looking forecasts for key stakeholders. You will also translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for campaign planning and strategic priorities.
You will define, size, and assess marketing promotions and initiatives, bringing structure and quantitative rigor to planning. You will work closely with Performance Marketing to optimize spending for topline growth and new customer acquisition.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Similar experience in a performance, strategy, or business analytics role – preferably within a marketplace, e-commerce, or tech-driven consumer business.
* Advanced analytical skills with fluency in Excel, SQL, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.).
* Experience turning data into decisions – from framing the right questions, to building models and dashboards, to influencing stakeholders.
* A strong communicator and collaborator, able to work closely with non-analytical teams and bring them along the data journey.
