About us
The IT department of the Hamburg tax administration, with over 100 employees, provides IT support for the daily work of approximately 4,000 employees in 14 tax offices, Office 5 of the Authority for Finance and Districts, and the North German Academy of Finance. The work is carried out in close cooperation with other authorities of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (FHH), the North German states (NdL), and the Germany-wide KONSENS project.
In cooperation with other teams and groups in the IT department and other FHH authorities, you will be responsible for a wide range of management, coordination, and technical tasks.
Your tasks
* Project management of several parallel, sometimes highly complex and interdisciplinary IT projects in different project phases
* Support of the Project Management Office (PMO) in the continuous development of project management standards
* Carrying out requirements analyses and economic feasibility studies
* Advising and supporting colleagues with project management methodological knowledge in more complex line activities
Your profileRequired
* University degree (bachelor's or equivalent) in computer science or a comparable field, or equivalent skills and experience, with at least 3 years of practical experience in tasks related to the advertised position at bachelor's level (in the public sector from EGr. 10, case group 1)
* Alternatively: completed training in a recognized IT profession or equivalent skills and experience, each with 5 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of responsibility of the advertised position, including at least 3 years of practical experience in tasks at the bachelor's level (in the public sector from EGr. 10, case group 1)
* German language skills at least at C1 level, both written and spoken
Advantageous
* Experience in leading matrix teams
* IPMA certification (level C or higher) or similar certification
* Willingness to acquire further qualifications in the field of project management
* Independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach to work, as well as a high degree of reliability and responsibility
* Analytical and creative thinking combined with negotiating skills and assertiveness
