Applications are invited for a postdoc position (of at least two years, a further extension may be possible, subject to the availability of funding) in quantum gravity.
The position is in the research group of Astrid Eichhorn at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at Heidelberg University. The research topics in the group include asymptotically safe gravity, causal set quantum gravity, tensor models for quantum gravity the phenomenology of quantum gravity and black holes beyond General Relativity.
The research group currently consists of five postdocs, three PhD students, as well as master and bachelor students, who work on the above list of topics, as well as connections between the topics, including connections between distinct approaches to quantum gravity. It is part of a vibrant research environment at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at Heidelberg University.
The research group values diversity of perspectives and researchers and accordingly welcomes applications from a broad range of research perspectives and researchers.
Applications should be submitted through academicjobsonline.
