Overview:
We are seeking a collaborative and experienced People Business Partner to lead impactful HR initiatives within our DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) market. This role involves partnering with local leaders to enhance business performance through talent development, organizational effectiveness, and fostering an inclusive culture.
You will work with cross-functional HR teams, including Talent, Total Rewards, People Operations, and Global Business Services, to implement effective initiatives. A key responsibility is managing labor relations for the region and chairing the headquarters Works Council.
Responsibilities:
1. Partner with business leaders to develop capabilities and improve performance.
2. Enhance manager skills in staffing, employee development, and engagement.
3. Lead talent planning, reviews, and succession strategies.
4. Address performance issues and promote continuous growth.
5. Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture aligned with company values.
6. Boost employee engagement by empowering leaders and managers.
7. Serve as a cultural ambassador and change leadership coach.
Organizational effectiveness
1. Align and adapt organizational structures to meet business objectives and support growth.
2. Identify and implement improvements in work processes, role clarity, and organizational design.
3. Support transformation and change initiatives through engagement and alignment.
Labor relations & compliance
1. Act as the primary contact for the Works Council in Germany.
2. Manage employee relations in accordance with German labor law.
3. Maintain fair HR policies and ensure legal compliance.
HR operations
1. Oversee HR processes such as performance management, career development, job postings, and health & safety.
2. Ensure quality execution aligned with global standards.
3. Collaborate with the HR network to support regional and global priorities.
Qualifications:
1. Fluent in German and English.
2. Proven experience in HR business partnering with senior stakeholders.
3. Strong knowledge of German labor laws.
4. Experience in an international corporate or FMCG environment, preferably in commercial roles.
5. Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
6. Strong business acumen and change leadership ability.
7. Comfortable working in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
