Your tasks
9. Development tasks for software components for unmanned (automated and autonomous) systems in C++
10. Support in the development of software specifications, software architectures, test procedures and software components including communication interfaces.
11. Further development of new and existing components as part of an agile and growing team
12. Actively following trends in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Autonomy, and contributing new ideas.
13. Support in the processing of national and international research projects and work on the latest trends in the field of maritime autonomy.
14. Integration and testing of the software on the test vehicles in Lake ATLAS
Your profile
15. Successfully completed studies, preferably in computer science, software engineering, computer science or mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
16. Practical implementation skills in C++ and several years of experience in the areas of design, testing, build (CMake) and/or continuous integration (CI) of software, preferably with GitLab.
17. Knowledge of how to use the above-mentioned tools, possibly with instructions.
18. Interest or experience in at least one of the following areas: Autonomy, Guidance, Obstacle Avoidance (2D/3D), SDF or comparable topics in the field of AUVs
19. Experience in developing graphical user interfaces with Qt is advantageous.
20. Interest in modern software development - good knowledge of clean code and software craftsmanship
21. Strong teamwork and communication skills
22. Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
23. Willingness to undertake occasional national and international business trips
