The Opportunity
You will join a high-calibre team operating at the intersection of venture capital and applied industrial innovation. With an open remit to back transformational businesses across pre-Seed to early Series A (and select pro rata), the role spans origination, execution, and portfolio stewardship. This is an opportunity to:
* Take full-cycle ownership of deals from thesis to exit
* Engage directly with technical founders and board-level stakeholders
* Represent the firm across Europe’s deep-tech corridors and frontier hubs
* Influence capital allocation through active IC participation
* Gain meaningful exposure to the firm’s LP network, including industrial holding groups and strategic corporates
Key Responsibilities
Deal Origination & Execution
* Source and qualify pipeline through thematic sourcing, referrals, and outbound mapping
* Lead first-principles diligence, financial modelling, and deal structuring
* Prepare and defend investment cases before the Investment Committee
Portfolio Engagement
* Support founders on go-to-market strategy, capital planning, and organisational design
* Track operating KPIs and drive post-investment value creation
* Lead preparations for board updates and downstream financing rounds
Ecosystem Development
* Build and nurture relationships with research institutes, corporate venture units, accelerators, and industrial networks
* Represent the firm at industry conferences, private roundtables, and ecosystem forums
Strategic Projects
* Develop proprietary sector maps and maintain competitive intelligence
* Contribute to LP communications, whitepapers, and internal knowledge-building
* Help evolve the firm’s approach to early-stage capital deployment
Candidate Profile
Experience
* 3–6 years in venture capital, growth equity, corporate VC, or technology-focused M&A / strategy
* Demonstrated exposure to early-stage or frontier technology deal flow is essential
Technical Fluency
* Familiarity with enterprise-deep-tech or hard-tech business models (e.g., applied robotics, edge compute, automation)
* Ability to interpret technical documentation and review data-room materials with scientific rigour
Education
* Outstanding academic record in engineering, computer science, natural sciences, or business/economics with strong quantitative coursework
Languages
* Fluent English and professional-level German (other European languages are a plus)
