Your mission Ensure that the Medusa programmes Quality Management System (QMS) fully complies with EN/ISO 9100 and AQAP-2310 requirements. This role bridges engineering supply chain and customer assurance providing oversight and leadership on quality dependability and configuration management processes. The Compliance Manager will act as the main point of contact with NATO and national Government Quality Assurance Representatives (GQARs). Responsibilities Quality Management System (QMS): Establish, maintain and improve the programme-specific QMS in line with ISO 9100 and AQAP-2310. Develop and maintain the Quality Plan for the Medusa contract. Ensure processes for internal audits, corrective actions and management reviews are implemented and documented. Oversee Configuration Management (CM) planning and compliance with ACMP 2100. Support engineering teams in embedding reliability, maintainability, safety and dependability requirements in the design. Act as the primary liaison with GQARs and Acquirers ensuring transparency and compliance. Facilitate audits, inspections and product acceptance activities. Ensure timely reporting of nonconformities, concessions and post-delivery quality issues. Maintain a Risk Management Plan in accordance with ISO 31000. Ensure AQAP-2310 requirements are flowed down to subcontractors and that supplier quality assurance activities are controlled and auditable. Monitor critical items and maintain traceability of all flight-safety-relevant components. Validate inspection, verification and acceptance test processes before product release. Ensure Certificates of Conformity and all contractual documentation are complete and available at delivery. Drive root cause analysis and corrective action for nonconformities. Measure customer satisfaction and provide improvement reports to programme management. Qualifications Degree in Aerospace Mechanical Systems Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years in aerospace/defense quality assurance with direct exposure to ISO 9100 / AQAP standards. Strong knowledge of AQAP-2310 and NATO contracting requirements. Experience working with UAVs, missiles or aerospace subsystems preferred. Familiarity with ISO 31000 (risk management), ISO 10012 (measurement systems) and dependability management in defense context. Demonstrated success in leading audits and customer-facing quality reviews. Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch language is a big plus.
