As Product Operations Manager /Chief-of-Staff (m/f/d), you will be a key member of the product organization, reporting directly to the VP R&D Sensors & Counter Measures. You'll be responsible for creating and implementing the operational framework that enables our product development teams to work efficiently and effectively at scale. You will serve as a key strategic partner to the organization’s management teams, providing timely and proactive support to run the business operation, helping to execute product roadmap, strategy, operations and translating into business outcomes.
Your tasks
* Assist the VP R&D in developing and executing department-level strategic plans and initiatives
* Facilitate product planning activities, including OKR alignment and dependency management
* Identify, analyze and track potential risks and opportunities for the department
* Prepare and deliver comprehensive recurring updates (e.g. newsletter, monthly org updates) to the product organization
* Design and implement scalable processes, tools, and workflows to enhance product development efficiency and cross-functional collaboration
* Drive initiatives to improve product quality, reduce time-to-market, and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Collect, analyze, and report on key product team metrics and dashboards to drive data-informed decision making
* Develop and oversee product portfolio management processes, including roadmap planning
* Identify and mitigate risks associated with product operations, implementing proactive measures to address potential issues.
Your qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in product or business operations, as Chief of Staff, Executive Assistant, or in a similar role supporting senior executives
* Strong understanding of product development and product management processes and tools
* Understanding of budget planning and management in an R&D environment
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as project management software, data analysis tools, and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, anticipate risks and meet deadlines and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously´
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues with competing priorities across all departments
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
* Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and execute quickly in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
