Lead Solution Architect - Sales Operations & OTC (m/f/d)

Your seat to fill:
1. Works with business stakeholders to define requirements and capture business needs for Sales and Commerce functions within the company and Ensure compliance with SAP standards and best Practices
2. Works with the Solution Architects and external partners to implement solutions within the Order to Cash (OTC) / SD module of SAP and EDI integrations for EDI mapping and transformation
3. Responsible for Application Maintenance and Services in O2C area and handholding business users to ensure uninterrupted business operations
4. Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands in close cooperation with peers
5. Present solutions and estimates to IT Leadership, Business Process Owner and Service Owners in order to gain approval for realization
6. Supports UAT in order to validate the solution towards the acceptance criteria
7. Ensures adherence to IT processes as well as policies, principles and guidelines
8. Lead a cross-functional team of solution architects in SCM, FIN, OTC, B2C and collaborating effectively with external partners
9. Delivery responsibility for AMS operations and Change Requests for IT Business applications in Cybex

10. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or a Science-related field
11. Extensive hands-on experience in SAP consulting or SAP Competence Centers, with recognized expertise in the SAP SD module and Order-to-Cash processes
12. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently define target architectures, design operating models, and optimize end-to-end business processes
13. Proven leadership in SAP SD solution architecture, including complex integrations with Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and surrounding business applications
14. Deep understanding of business drivers and value streams, with the ability to re-engineer processes and lead solutions from strategy and design through implementation and go-live
15. Demonstrated ability to lead, steer, and coordinate offshore and distributed IT teams (functional consultants and developers), ensuring delivery quality, timelines, and cost efficiency
16. Experience defining and executing logistics and supply chain integrations, including collaboration with third-party logistics (3PL) providers
17. Advanced expertise in EDI standards (EDIFACT, ANSI X, Peppol) and integration platforms such as SAP CPI, with responsibility for designing scalable, secure, and maintainable integration architectures
18. Strong architectural understanding of integration patterns and technologies, including IDoc, RFC, and API-based integrations, as well as master data and procure-to-pay processes with external business partners
19. High level of ownership, goal orientation, and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to drive change and deliver tangible business outcomes in dynamic environments
20. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fluency in English (spoken and written), and the potential to lead and develop a small team within an international environment
