Our client is a leading international EPC contractor specializing in energy infrastructure and large-scale Oil & Gas projects.
We are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join a major gas pipeline project in Germany.
Role Summary
The Contract Administrator will support the project management team in all contractual and commercial matters, ensuring agreements, documentation, and compliance are properly managed. The role involves close coordination with Procurement, Project Controls, Legal, and Finance to mitigate risks and support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, review, and update project contracts and related documentation.
* Monitor contractual obligations, deliverables, and timelines.
* Track and document variations, claims, and change orders.
* Prepare reports on contract status, risks, and financial impacts.
* Coordinate with internal teams to resolve contractual issues and ensure compliance.
* Support negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Maintain proper filing, archiving, and traceability of documents.
* Provide contractual support during project meetings.
Requirements
* 3–5 years of experience in contract administration or commercial roles within EPC, Oil & Gas, or major construction projects.
* Solid understanding of contract management, procurement, and commercial terms.
* Familiarity with FIDIC, NEC, or similar contract standards is an advantage.
* Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail.
* Fluency in English and German (written and spoken); Italian is a plus.
* Proficiency in MS Office; ERP (e.g., SAP) experience preferred.
* Ability to work in a multicultural environment and relocate to Germany for the project duration.
