Anchored by the MeluXina supercomputer and built on a strong public-private ecosystem, L-AIF helps organisations harness AI in a secure, trustworthy, and practical way.
Within this initiative, the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) at the University of Luxembourg plays a leading role in developing and consolidating AI training opportunities and promoting talent development in Luxembourg. It also leads the AI Sphere event series, which supports talent attraction and retention through webinars, industry matchmaking, hackathons, and related initiatives, in collaboration with national and international partners.
Lead the AI Sphere initiative from concept to execution, including programme design, communication strategy, partner coordination, and performance monitoring: webinars, hackathons, matchmaking, seminars, including logistics, speaker coordination, participant support, and post-event content
Develop and implement communication strategies highlighting AI talent development in Luxembourg and the University's role within Luxembourg AI Factory
Create multimedia content for the Luxembourg AI Factory channels, e.g., articles, newsletters, social media, press releases, videos, podcasts
Manage and update dedicated web pages on WordPress for the Luxembourg AI Factory and the University
Collaborate with the Communication Leads for the project, social media planning, contributing to deliverables, reporting, and coordination meetings
Align closely with communication teams at the University of Luxembourg to ensure consistency with institutional messaging
Monitor trends in science communication, AI literacy, and digital outreach to inform and improve communication strategies
Analyse communication impact using metrics and audience feedback, and adjust activities accordingly
Act as a communication liaison across partners to ensure clear and consistent dissemination of project objectives and results
Identify and develop new collaboration opportunities, partnerships, and outreach initiatives aligned with project objectives
Master's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Science Communication, Journalism, or a related field
At least 6 years of relevant experience in communication or outreach, ideally in research, innovation, or academic environments
Strong ability to develop and implement communication and outreach strategies
Ability to lead and manage projects independently, including multi-partner initiatives across academia, industry, and the public sector
Proven ability to create high-quality content across multiple formats for both technical and non-technical audiences, including social media and content management systems such as WordPress and Canva
Experience using metrics and analytics to assess and improve communication performance
Comfortable handling administrative tasks and reporting requirements, including structured documentation and project reporting
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French and Luxembourgish is considered an advantage
