About The Opportunity
Are you a transformation-focused commercial leader ready to drive strategic change across multiple businesses in Europe? We are seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director of Commercial Excellence to support performance improvement within a private equity portfolio. This high-impact role combines hands-on implementation with top-level strategic input—ideal for someone entrepreneurial, analytical, and results-oriented.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead detailed business and commercial performance analysis immediately post-acquisition.
* Identify growth and efficiency opportunities across sales, pricing, product, and customer delivery.
* Work alongside local management teams to implement and track business improvement plans.
* Conduct risk mitigation analysis and maintain high transparency in reporting and outcomes.
* Support strategic setup and alignment of portfolio company commercial roadmaps.
* Contribute to operational due diligence for new acquisitions.
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement across the commercial function.
Required Skills
* 7–9 years of international experience in Commercial Excellence roles in industry or consulting.
* Minimum 1 year of consulting experience required.
* Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or related fields with strong academic performance.
* Experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills, a pragmatic mindset, and proven ability to drive results in complex settings.
* Fluent in both English and German; an additional European language is a plus.
* Willingness to travel extensively (typically Mon–Thu) across Europe.
