Your tasks and responsibilities As the internal communications focal point for the Connected Intelligence Business Unit, you will report to the Head of Employee and Site Activation and closely work with the Connected Intelligence Communications Advisor. You will be an internal communications expert, advising stakeholders on how to deliver the right message to the right audience, using the right channels, at the right time, and in the right context. Strategy and Planning: Support and develop strategic concepts, tactics, and plans for internal communications activities as input for the Business Unit Communications Plan. Execution and Measurement: Plan, design, implement, and measure internal communications projects and activities for the Connected Intelligence Business Unit and other business areas. This includes using data analytics, feedback, and benchmarking to drive continuous improvement. Content and Channel Management: Orchestrate and update all internal channels, including the social intranet (Hub), with articles and community posts. You'll also manage mass mailings, poster campaigns, and digital, hybrid, and physical events, which may include facilitation and moderation. Content Creation: Create compelling content through copywriting, speechwriting, and scriptwriting. Project Management: Manage administrative and logistical event tasks, such as distribution list management, event registration, internal meeting coordination, and feedback surveys. Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Work closely with the external communications team to ensure consistent messaging. You'll also manage external and internal service providers, such as graphic designers and translators. Desired skills and qualifications Experience: An expert communicator with at least five years of experience in a similar role and a degree in communications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and operate at all levels of an organisation. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Superb written communication skills and the ability to create high-quality content quickly and accurately. Digitally savvy, with a strong interest in innovation and new communication trends. Creative, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to try new and innovative communications tactics. Aptitude: A team player with strong business acumen. Languages: Fluent in both English and German.
