Responsibilities:
* Develop and design enclosures for stand-alone applications as well as rack systems.
* Design and optimize cooling systems, including heat sink design, air-flow routing in close collaboration with the power electronics development team.
* Integrate mechanical components into overall product concepts to ensure optimum functionality and reliability.
* Create 3D models, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials.
* Perform simulations and prototype testing to validate designs.
* Work closely with the electronics and mechanical development as well as production teams to resolve practical implementation issues.
* Continuously improving existing products in terms of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and innovation.
Your Profile:
* Master Engineer or equivalent by experience.
* Several years of professional experience in mechanical development, ideally in the field of power electronics or power supplies.
* Solid knowledge of CAD systems, especially SolidWorks and PDM.
* Experience in the design and optimization of enclosures and cooling systems is a plus.
* Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with strong team spirit.
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
