With a proven track record in identifying high-upside, value-add opportunities, the firm focuses on under-utilised or distressed real estate across Germany—locations with strong fundamentals such as public transport links and urban regeneration potential.
The current portfolio spans more than 170,000 square meters with a conservative financial profile (under 30% LTV) and substantial growth capacity. Operating as a privately-owned family business, free of institutional capital, the firm benefits from fast, independent decision-making. It has recently completed notable redevelopment projects in Berlin, Leipzig, and Hanover, and is now looking to scale operations through both asset acquisitions and strategic corporate investments.
Role Overview
The company is seeking a commercially driven Managing Director to lead the next phase of growth. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for sourcing, structuring, and executing high-upside transactions—including direct property deals and company-level acquisitions. The successful candidate will work closely with the founder to shape investment strategy, drive deal flow, and expand the firm’s footprint.
Key Responsibilities
* Originate and close complex real estate transactions across Germany, including asset and share deals
* Identify distressed, underutilized, or repositioning-eligible properties, particularly in B and C locations
* Lead due diligence, financial modeling, risk analysis, and deal structuring
* Evaluate real estate companies with liquidity or restructuring needs for acquisition or investment
* Cultivate a network of brokers, advisors, intermediaries, and institutional contacts
* Work alongside in-house teams across development, technical management, and finance
* Represent the firm with external stakeholders and help shape portfolio strategy
Candidate Profile
* 10+ years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, or structured transactions in Germany
* Demonstrable track record of sourcing and executing deals (asset- or company-level)
* Deep understanding of zoning, leasing, development, and capital structuring
* Financially literate with strong analytical capabilities, particularly around distressed or leveraged assets
* German and English fluency required
* Ideally based in Berlin or willing to relocate during onboarding phase
