Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Maintenance and Operations Industry: Renewable Energy (Geothermal)
Salary: Up to 100K base
Work Setting: Hybrid (3 days at the site, 2 days WFH)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Automation Technician to support their operations through the maintenance, troubleshooting, and oversight of electrical and automation systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational safety, reliability, and efficiency within our facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical systems, automation technology, and a strong understanding of relevant safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Acting as a responsible electrician (Verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft) in accordance with legal and safety standards
Serving as plant manager (Anlagenverantwortlicher) for electrical and automation equipment
Organizing and planning maintenance schedules (both preventative and corrective)
Operating and maintaining medium-voltage (MV) switchgear systems
Holding switching authorization for: Medium voltage systems (up to 30 kV) and Low voltage (LV) systems
Fault diagnosis and repair in LV systems and control technology
Ensuring work is conducted in line with VDE regulations
Creating and managing documentation, including HSE-compliant records
Troubleshooting in instrumentation and automation systems
Performing maintenance and service on automation and control systems
Note: Programming and development of control systems is beneficial but not a mandatory requirement.
Qualifications:
State-certified Electrical and Automation Technician (preferred)
Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering (University of Applied Sciences or equivalent)
Alternatively, qualification as a Certified Industrial Master Electrician (Industriemeister Elektrotechnik)
Practical experience in:
Electrical engineering and plant operations
Medium and low voltage systems
Automation and instrumentation maintenance
