Turner Lovell is recruiting for an entrepreneurial energy infrastructure developer specializing in international electricity transmission, HVDC interconnectors, and offshore wind. Our client is executing ambitious projects across Europe and the USA that are fundamental to achieving climate goals.
As Regulatory Affairs Manager for one of their flagship European projects, you'll guide the leadership team with expert guidance on regulatory developments affecting German and wider EU energy markets. You'll collaborate with exceptional international colleagues while developing an expanding portfolio of electricity transmission and renewable energy connection projects thus transforming the European energy landscape.
Lead on government and regulator engagement in Germany to advance electricity and renewable energy projects.
Deliver regulatory insights to leadership on German and EU market developments.
Draft responses to German consultations on EnWG and EU frameworks including RED III and Ten-E.
Contribute to project strategies aligned with Germany's Energiewende priorities.
Build relationships with German industry associations and policy stakeholders.
Monitor EU legislation critical to electricity interconnectors and NetZero related projects.
3+ years in energy policy and regulatory affairs in the German market.
~ Experience with German electricity grid regulation, HVDC interconnectors or renewable projects.
~ Fluency in both German and English a prerequisite and outstanding communication skills.
