The Facility Management (FM) department with around 100 employees provides a wide range of services for the buildings with their extensive technical infrastructures for modern research and teaching on a usable area of approx. 120,000 m .
The position is located in the Building Services section of the FM department and supports the project management in the introduction and implementation of a new Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM).
The use of a powerful and comprehensive CAFM system is required for the management of space, technical and infrastructural facilities, commercial matters and the linking of user data. As the system currently in use is being completely replaced, it is necessary to select and gradually introduce a suitable successor solution. In close cooperation with the KIM (Communication, Information, Media Center) department, existing and supporting software components are being recorded, analyzed and redesigned if necessary.
Areas of responsibility
Your tasks
* Support in the selection and introduction of a new CAFM for digital space management
* Participation in the configuration of the new CAFM system
* Supporting users as part of the system implementation (first point of contact for problems and questions from users)
* Participation in the compilation of the necessary requirements
* Preparation of the data and information recorded in the previous CAFM
* Collaboration in the standardization of the FM system landscape
* Integration of further functionalities into the new CAFM (e.g. Cleaning management, key management software and the entire building management system)
* Support for project management
Requirements profile
Your profile
* You have extensive experience in facility management and have completed vocational training or a university degree in facility management, building services engineering or a comparable field of study
* You are familiar with a variety of common tasks and processes in facility management or can systematically analyze processes
* You have good IT skills, particularly in dealing with digital processes, applications and systems (e.g. CAFM, data analysis, process modeling)
* You want to get to grips with new IT applications and are characterized by a high affinity for digital solutions as well as a strong analytical understanding
* You are open to change processes and like to play an active role in shaping them
* You have the ability and willingness to provide your colleagues with professional guidance and instruction, e.g. As part of training courses and workshops
* You are characterized by structured, independent, conscientious and precise work
* You are a team player with strong communication skills and a collegial approach
