Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to spearhead our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial accounting tasks for our German subsidiary, including supplier invoicing, travel expense management, and bank entries
* Monitor and implement national and international payment transactions in compliance with LuxGaap regulations
* Post all business transactions in balance sheet and asset accounting as well as account reconciliation
* Support with quarterly and annual closing work, ensuring seamless execution and review
* Handle tax matters, including VAT, particularly for international deliveries of goods, triangular transactions, chain transactions, and international services
* Contribute to other general accounting and administrative duties
Requirements:
* Relevant training or certification in financial or accounting or tax specialization
* Proven expertise in handling accounting regulations according to LuxGaap
* Minimum 1 year of professional experience in accounting, with solid knowledge of VAT in international trade
* Confident use of MS Office and booking software or ERP systems
* Excellent team and communication skills
* Flexibility, accuracy, and responsibility
* Strong written and spoken English skills; knowledge of German is advantageous
