The Senior Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the procurement process within a dedicated Business Unit (BU), ensuring a high-quality and compliant procurement service. This role also includes leading regional or global category strategies in close coordination with the Global Procurement Center. As a strategic business partner, the Senior Procurement Manager supports key business priorities, drives value creation, and ensures alignment with corporate procurement policies and tools.
Collaborate with the Global Procurement Center to leverage global procurement synergies.
Provide professional procurement support to the BU and ensure sign-off at defined procurement tollgates.
Ensure compliance with procurement and HSE policies and procedures.
A university degree in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering is required; alternatively, significant professional experience in Procurement or Supply Chain may substitute formal education.
Proactive and forward-leaning: Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential for effective communication in an international environment.
Utilize procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, DocuSign, JDE, and ServiceNow would be a great benefit
