We are a newly established, five-member team with the goal of modernizing existing web applications and transitioning them to a future-proof, API-based architecture with a lightweight frontend. Our major focus is creating a solid foundation for innovative and expandable solutions for automating regulatory checks or generating legally compliant use cases, which in turn can be utilized by various business applications, including LLMs chatbots.
We are looking for a (Senior) FullStack Software Developer (d/f/m) - TypeScript & React to join our Development I team in the Technology & Product division. The position is available immediately and can be based either remotely or at our Freiburg im Breisgau office.
Job Description
* Technical Responsibility : Together with your team, you will take technical ownership of the entire development process – from conception to successful release
* Innovative Projects : You will transform existing web applications by building scalable APIs on a scalable and modular infrastructure that supports existing and new legal checks and generators
* Agile Collaboration : As part of our Scrum team, you will actively shape not only the technical development and optimization of our products but also our processes and workflows
* Quality Assurance : A strong commitment to code quality, maintainability, and Clean Code principles is an integral part of our daily work

Qualifications
* Technical Expertise :
o Three or more years of experience in software development
o Proficiency in technologies such as Node.js, AWS, Cloud Formation, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React, Tailwind, GitLab and Git
* Team Spirit & Initiative :
o Enthusiasm for contributing new ideas to the team while helping shape and improve internal processes
o Willingness to collaborate effectively with the team, coupled with excitement for new technical challenges
* Commitment to Quality :
o A passion for writing clear, maintainable, and efficient code – ensuring a high code and product quality
o Actively supporting your team members in balancing high-quality standards with business outcomes
* Language Skills :
o Proficient English skills
