At the ROFIN-SINAR Laser GmbH site in Hamburg, we develop and produce high-power CO₂ lasers that set global benchmarks in industrial materials processing. Your Responsibilities In this key role based in Hamburg, you are responsible for the PWS product throughout its entire lifecycle – from planning to implementation in the factory and at the customer’s site. Your responsibilities include: Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management : Define, guide, and manage the entire product lifecycle – from strategic planning to operational implementation – in close collaboration with relevant teams and stakeholders such as customers, sales, service, and application engineering. Product Development & Pricing : Participate in the definition, specification, and pricing of new and existing PWS products and processes, as well as associated service strategies. Forecasting & Target Achievement : Develop revenue and order intake forecasts in close coordination with management, sales, and other departments. Partnerships & Customer Support : Build and maintain long-term partnerships together with sales, application engineering, and service teams. Provide close support to our key customers to foster sustainable business relationships. Identifying Customer Needs : Gather requirements for new products and innovations, including developing necessary processes and system equipment in cooperation with customers, sales, and our application specialists. Marketing, Communication & Customer Focus : Support the creation and maintenance of marketing materials, product documentation, and presentations. Collaborate with marketing on market and competitive analyses. Trade Shows & Events : Represent our company at trade shows, conferences, and other events. Your Profile Qualifications : Completed degree (Bachelor/Master) in a technical field or equivalent qualification, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering. Professional Experience : At least 3–5 years of experience in product management, product development, or product marketing, ideally in a technology-driven company. Industry Knowledge : Experience with complex capital goods and processes. Background in manufacturing or automation technology, welding, or laser technology. Language Skills : Fluent English, both written and spoken. Willingness to Travel : Open to national and international business travel. Personal Traits : Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, and enthusiasm for technical innovations and processes.
