The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and driving the financial strategy to support the company’s growth and profitability.Contract Type : limited contractKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy and Planning :Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals.Oversee financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team to drive business performance.Financial Reporting and Compliance :Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards.Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors.Operational Management :Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.Optimize cash flow and working capital.Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives.Identify and mitigate financial risks.Develop business continuity plans.Business Partnering :Act as a key partner to senior management and stakeholders.Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions.Drive cost-efficiency and process improvements.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Minimum 10 years of financial experience, with at least 5 in a senior management role.Deep knowledge of financial principles and regulations in Germany.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Experience in subscription business models is mandatory.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven leadership in developing high-performing teams.Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (Workday); advanced Excel skills.Fluent in German and English.What We OfferJoin the leading PropTech platform in Europe, with a broad portfolio of digital real estate brands.Quarterly off-site collaboration events paid for by the company.International environment with a focus on customer obsession.Access to a large, collaborative design & research community.At AVIV, we are committed to diversity and inclusion.
