Key Responsibilities:
* Utilise market insights and industry knowledge to drive informed decision making with clients, impacting commercial and operational performance of suppliers
* Gain and manage stakeholder engagement at all appropriate levels and influence effectively
* Provide input into client’s scope of requirements and specification design, proposing best practice approaches to the market
* Develop robust strategies that challenge clients’ thinking and drive cost transformation
* Develop negotiation plans and manage negotiation process with client and supplier(s)
* Provide commercial input on contract terms and conditions with suppliers
* Agree mobilisation plans and manage activities with client and supplier(s) as required
* Contribute to the development of Proxima’s internal knowledge development in the Professional Services category
About You:
* Operating in a client facing environment in a consultancy
* Strong professional services category knowledge – Legal, Consultancy, Audit, BPO
* Change management experience
* Experience of managing and coaching junior team members
* Demonstrable experience of articulating value propositions to clients
* Proven track record in delivering high quality, strategic Procurement projects
* Flexibility to travel domestically as required
* Excellent planning, negotiation, and written & oral communication skills
* Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation and data analytical skills
