Your Responsibilities TL;DR: We are looking for a hands on Senior Scientist who can a) troubleshoot devices, get his/her fingers dirty and helps hands-on and b) is happy to manage 2-3 labs techs to smoothly run daily operations. We wish for this person to be 100% practical and to not shy away from tedious and detailed oriented work. Managing and maintaining several LC-MS systems, ensuring smooth operation of routine laboratory Troubleshooting and resolving issues with analytical instrumentation Evaluation of targeted methods and data interpretation Adjusting and updating laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs) Clear and structured documentation in the Laboratory Information Management System Effective time management to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently Strong communication skills to collaborate with different teams Working in shifts with variable working hours and weekend duties Your Profile Bachelor's (with plentiful experience), Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalytics, or a related field Proven experience in leading a commercial laboratory team of at least 5 people in a commercial setting Experience in financial management of a commercial laboratory is a big plus Strong expertise in LC-MS techniques (including micro-LC), including troubleshooting, method development and validation Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and outside organizations Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality, compliance, and efficiency Hands-on experience with LIMS and laboratory inventory management Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines Experience with Sciex MS and Shimadzu LCs is a big plus What We Offer We structure our compensation in 1) short-term, 2) medium-term and 3) long-term Short-term: Salary to ensure that your lifestyle is covered and you are able to work worry free about money Medium-term: (Team) Bonus that ensures that you are aligned with our medium term goals, that quality is held high and that the team is operating at 100%.
