Position Overview

Morgan Latif has been exclusively retained by a leading global packaging client to appoint a Site Director for their site in Germany. This is a high-impact executive leadership opportunity offering full P&L ownership of a strategically important manufacturing site, with responsibility across operations, commercial performance, financial management, and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall performance of a 50–55 employee manufacturing site generating approximately €19m in revenue, with growth potential to €30m.
• Drive collaboration between Operations and Sales to support business growth and improve customer responsiveness.
• Partner with commercial teams to ensure operational readiness for future expansion and increased production volumes.
• Deliver operational excellence through strong cost control, productivity improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage a highly automated manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
• Develop and retain a high-performing leadership team while fostering a more agile, customer-focused culture.
• Lead organisational and cultural change, bridging local site dynamics with broader Group objectives.
• Oversee Production, Supply Chain, Quality, HR, Finance, and Maintenance functions.
• Operate effectively within a matrix organisation, collaborating closely with Group HR, Finance, and Technical functions.
• Support strategic transformation initiatives and contribute to the ongoing evolution of United Caps' operating model.

Desired Profile

• Strong industrial and operational leadership background, ideally in a complex, highly automated manufacturing, or packaging environment.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen, with the credibility to engage with sales and business stakeholders to support growth.
• A collaborative, agile leadership style with genuine customer orientation, adapting to the German mindset.
• Solid cost management discipline and a track record of driving productivity KPIs.
• Comfortable operating in a matrix structure, with HR, Finance & Technic reporting into group functions.
• Fluent in German and English.
