We are looking for the following position at our headquarters on site in Hechingen to start as soon as possible:
Your mission
* You take full responsibility for the Shared Service Center Accounting across several international entities (including Germany, Switzerland, the USA, and Sweden).
* You ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to German GAAP (HGB) and contribute to the development of IFRS reporting.
* You build, standardize, and advance accounting processes to create a scalable, internationally harmonized structure.
* You drive the development and implementation of an effective Internal Control System (ICS), aligned with IPO readiness and governance requirements.
* You lead and develop the accounting team, including team leads, fostering ownership, delegation, and clear accountability.
* You collaborate closely with the Group CFO, Controlling, Group Finance, and international entities.
* You manage and coordinate external partners such as tax advisors and auditors across countries.
* You support the ERP transformation (Microsoft Business Central) and help enhance reporting and consolidation processes (e.g., LucaNet).
* You ensure transparent and consistent accounting logic and align accounting matters with Controlling and Management.
* You identify optimization potential across the entire accounting value chain and implement suitable improvements.
* You support tax‑related topics (e.g., VAT, Transfer Pricing) in a coordinating function.
* You contribute to the ongoing development and professionalization of the finance organization.
Your profile
* You hold a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification – alternatively a certified accounting qualification (e.g., certified accountant).
* You bring several years of leadership experience in accounting, ideally within an internationally active mid‑sized company or corporate environment.
* You possess strong expertise in German GAAP (HGB); IFRS knowledge is an advantage.
* You have experience building or developing shared service center structures or centralized accounting organizations.
* You are familiar with Internal Control Systems (ICS) and ideally have experience in transformation or ERP projects.
* You bring strong process and organizational skills as well as a high affinity for systems and digital solutions.
* You understand financial interdependencies and interfaces with Controlling and operational functions.
* You are a strong, modern leader with clear communication skills and the ability to guide teams through change.
* You combine a hands‑on mentality with strategic thinking.
* You are resilient and willing to work on‑site in Baden‑Württemberg.
* You communicate fluently in both German and English.
