Job Title Senior Medical & Clinical Affairs PMO & Transformation Manager (m/w/d) Job Description As a Senior Medical & Clinical Affairs PMO & Transformation Manager, you will drive strategic planning, operational excellence, and governance across the Medical & Clinical Affairs organization. You will lead cross‑functional, high‑impact initiatives while ensuring integrated prioritization, data‑driven decision‑making, and strong stakeholder alignment. This role offers the opportunity to shape transformation, elevate execution standards, and enable a unified, enterprise-wide medical strategy. Your role: Drive strategic planning and operational excellence, including the design, implementation, and optimization of processes, SOPs, and governance frameworks across Medical & Clinical Affairs. Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives in the medical and clinical domain, providing strategic direction, decision-making support, and executive-level stakeholder alignment. Act as the primary strategic liaison between Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, and key organizational partners to ensure integrated priorities and unified execution. Establish, implement and execute an integrated Medical & Clinical Project Planning & Execution Approach (incl. Deliverables, tracking, tooling & governance) Enable data-driven portfolio leadership through robust KPI frameworks, analytics, dashboards, and executive-ready reporting that strengthen strategic and operational decision-making. Own and advance the digital and tool ecosystem, including AI capabilities, for the HPM Medical Office; define standards, drive adoption, and deliver tailored training programs. Steer annual operating planning, ensuring strategic prioritization, resource alignment, financial awareness, and transparent cross-functional coordination. Lead portfolio management and prioritization cycles, including the orchestration of governance reviews and leadership steering meetings. Champion transformation, change management and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and organizational capability. Establish and elevate project management frameworks, ensuring consistent execution, transparency, and operational rigor across all medical initiatives. Provide senior guidance to project managers, enabling high-quality planning, resource and budget oversight, risk mitigation, and delivery excellence. Design and execute capability-building strategies, including education programs, curricula, and learning pathways for the broader Medical organization. Co-develop the Scientific Communication Plan with internal stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment and seamless cross-functional execution. You Are the Right Fit If You: Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Medical, Scientific, Nursing, Business, or related field. Bring 5 years of progressive experience in Medical or Clinical Affairs, in areas such as Clinical Development, Clinical Research, PMO leadership, project/program management within healthcare or life sciences. Demonstrate a strategic understanding of medical affairs operations within regulated environments and the nuances of cross-functional collaboration. Exhibit executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills. Operate with a business-driven mindset, excelling at prioritization and strategic alignment in a complex environment. Possess strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking, with a passion for innovation and transformation. Have demonstrated ability to lead through influence, secure alignment, and drive cohesive cross-functional execution. Are proficient in MS Office and modern project management platforms (e.g., Power BI, MS Project, Smartsheet). Are fluent in English; German or other European languages are a plus.
