Manufacturing Operations Manager - Semiconductor / Sensors
A leading Semiconductor company in sensing technology is looking for a Manufacturing Operations Manager to join the company in Reutlingen, DE.
The main task for this role is to lead the manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our operational strategy, optimising the supply chain, and ensuring the company exceeds customer expectations.

Your Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Define, implement, and drive operational strategies to enhance product ramp-up, reduce costs, and optimize delivery, while maximizing operational efficiency and strengthening our supplier relationships.
* Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations (internal and external) to meet customer demand, setting and achieving ambitious performance targets for on-time delivery, yield, and productivity.
* Engineering Oversight: Lead the Operations Engineering team, driving product and process improvements in collaboration with R&D. Oversee key projects related to process optimization, product transfers, qualification, equipment lifecycle management, and mass production ramp-up.
* Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Lead the S&OP team to develop and optimize a robust global demand and supply plan, aligning with product marketing forecasts and ensuring supply availability.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, planning, engineering, quality, procurement, and legal teams to develop and execute manufacturing strategies that support long-term growth.
* Team Leadership & Development: Provide inspiring leadership, mentor team members, and foster a culture of excellence across our German (Karlsruhe/Reutlingen) and Dutch (Eindhoven) locations.
What You Bring:
* Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
* 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing leadership within the semiconductor industry, including expertise in MEMS, ASICs, and fabless operations.
* Proven track record in driving yield improvement, process optimization, and managing external manufacturing.
* Strong technical understanding of MEMS and ASIC process technologies, environmental sensors, device physics, and semiconductor manufacturing (including packaging, assembly, and testing).
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multi-site teams across Germany and the Netherlands.
* Excellent communication skills in English and German.
* Ability to lead multiple teams at three locations in Germany (Karlsruhe/Reutlingen) and the Netherlands (Eindhoven)
