Job Summary :
The Regional CoE Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs across Midea's European operations. This role will ensure that C&B programs are competitive, compliant with local regulations, and aligned with Midea's global strategic objectives. The Specialist will work closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and other stakeholders to support the attraction, retention, and motivation of employees.
Key Responsibilities :
* Compensation Strategy :
Develop and implement competitive compensation strategies that align with Midea's business goals and market trends.
* Benefits Administration :
Design and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
* Market Analysis :
Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure Midea's compensation and benefits packages are competitive.
* Job Evaluation :
Perform job evaluations and salary surveys to determine appropriate compensation levels for various roles.
* Policy Development :
Develop and update compensation and benefits policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance across the region.
* Employee Communication :
Communicate compensation and benefits programs to employees, providing clear and concise information.
* Data Management :
Maintain accurate records and data related to compensation and benefits, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
* Compliance :
Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local labor laws and regulations.
* Collaboration :
Work closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and other stakeholders to support compensation and benefits initiatives.
* Global Alignment :
Ensure alignment of regional C&B strategies with Midea's global HQ policies and practices.
* Post-Merger Integration (PMI) :
Support post-merger integration activities related to compensation and benefits, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with Midea's standards.
Qualifications :
* Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.G., CCP) is a plus.
* Experience :
Minimum 8 years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in a multinational company. Experience in post-merger integration (PMI) is a plus.
* Skills :
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in HRIS and compensation management software.
* Knowledge :
In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, labor laws, and regulations in Europe.
* Communication :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
* Language :
Proficiency in English and German is required.
