Company Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co KG, Werk Goerlitz Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Industrial Steam Turbines & Generators Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As the Head of Manufacturing Network Planning (f/m/d), you will significantly contribute to future competitiveness of a global network which consists of eight major manufacturing sites. Your primary focus will be on fostering collaboration across the network and optimizing overall utilization. In this role, you will actively and collaboratively motivate change and promote operational excellence by ensuring effective load and capacity management. You will be responsible for continuous and strategic network development, working in a highly self-directed and motivated manner.How You’ll Make an Impact
10. Build, lead, and develop an international team, fostering collaboration, efficiency and flexibility within the manufacturing network.
11. Drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a global manufacturing load planning process and framework aimed at optimizing production capacities and resources.
12. Own of the strategic manufacturing network development process, including core/non-core strategies, product and component allocation, and related CAPEX planning.
13. Supervise and support the initiation and execution of cross-site projects and improvement initiatives to translate strategic and operational business needs into effective solutions.
14. Ensure close coordination with Manufacturing internal and external stakeholders to align strategies with relevant functions and overall business objectives.
What You Bring
15. A university degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
16. Longstanding experience in manufacturing, ideally supplemented by strategic assignments paired with many years of leadership experience
17. A proven track record in implementing strategic and complex improvement and change projects
18. Strong communication and teamwork ability to effectively lead an international team and interact with various stakeholders
19. Excellent strategic and analytical skills, coupled with a structured problem-solving approach and a proactive can-do attitude
20. Fluent English language skills; German is an advantage
